If we need to rebuild the crushed stone base, we install a geotextile membrane underneath to create support. This strong membrane prevents the base from collapsing while allowing water to flow without mixing with the soil.

We compact the crushed stones with our machinery to level this foundation to a final thickness between 16 and 20 inches. We pave it with hot asphalt, then compact it while creating an adequate slope to facilitate water drainage (the catch basin is always placed slightly lower than the road).
