Our paving services
RZR ASPHALTE provides paving services for roads and parking lots in the commercial, institutional, industrial, and residential (driveway entrances) sectors. Our team also handles spot asphalt repair, resurfacing, and the refurbishment of part or all of a parking lot or asphalt road. We can also repair residential or commercial catch basins by solidifying the base.
Steps in our paving work
Paving of roads, parking lots, or driveway entrances is carried out in four steps: first, we excavate and remove clayey soil for replacement. We then lay a geotextile membrane that will facilitate water drainage and hold the crushed stone layer in place.
This base layer is compacted with crushed aggregate using our high-performance machinery and can thus serve as a solid foundation. We then carry out the asphalt paving and level the surface.
Landscaping work before or after paving
Before paving, if the land has not been cleared, our team can remove compacted rocks and fell trees (and remove stumps). We also remove clayey soil and replace it with stable soil. We haul away trunks, stumps, and other debris to an ecological site.
After completing the paving of roads, parking lots, or residential driveway entrances, the RZR ASPHALTE team can perform some landscaping work (sod installation, shrub planting, etc.).
We can also build concrete sidewalks or patios and install interlocking bricks for pathways, retaining walls, stairs, or pool surrounds.
When paving private roads, we add rocks and hydroseeded topsoil on the slopes on the sides to prevent erosion.
